About Linda Sword:

I have worked in customer service for a long time and love being the face of the company. My outgoing personality and interest in everyone that I meet makes my job exciting day to day.  Working at the Ontario Science Centre as a host had allowed me to develop one of people’s top fears:  public speaking.  It was an awesome experience being immersed in science and then being able to share or discuss topics with the visitors.

Currently my passion is in the sport of dragon boating. I belong to a competitive senior team that has consistently medalled internationally in our division.  I have proudly been on the National Senior Women’s team bringing gold back to Canada from three world championships. The last 5 years I have shared my passion and knowledge of the sport to recreational and intermediate level teams as a coach. I absolutely love the excitement, successes and sacrifices that these teams share.

My most favourite adventure is camping in the back country of Killarney Provincial Park with my family for over 30 years.  The serenity and beauty is our way of re-energizing our souls in the connection with nature.

I have also had the pleasure of being involved with the midwifery community as a client and volunteer, passionate about the empowerment of women in their choice of childbirth.

I am excited to be part of the amazing team here at Kelly’s Tree Care working on our Urban Forest.
